Craig A. Friedman, DMD
Dr. Friedman grew up in North Miami Beach and graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High School. Upon graduation, he entered the United States Air Force as a dental assistant and served for four years. In 1993, he graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and continued his education with a one year hospital based dental residency at Washington University and Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Friedman is a member of organized dentistry through the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. Additionally, he serves as a Broward College Board member, responsible for helping to develop curriculum and training for the Dental Assisting program. He maintains his dental license in both Florida and Missouri. He is also a retired Dental Officer of the United States Air Force Reserve. Dr. Friedman enjoys many areas of dentistry and is uncompromising in the importance of continuing education. He remains current in the most advanced methods of diagnosis and treatment and is constantly incorporating the latest technology. He is committed to developing trusting relationships with his patients by providing comprehensive and individualized care. His expertise and reputation have been noted by his peers and hundreds of satisfied patients. He and his wife, along with their two daughters, live in Weston.
Maria Feiz, DMD
Dr. Maria Teresa Feiz was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She completed her undergraduate training in the field of biology at the University Iberoamericana (UNIBE). During her undergraduate training, she volunteered at multiple Medical and Dental missionary trips where she helped her Dentist provide care to many underserved areas in the Dominican Republic. It was during this time that she fell in love with the field of dentistry and discovered her passion for helping others. She later went on to follow her dreams, as she attended Dental School at UNIBE and graduated in the year 2000. She moved to the United States in 2002 to accompany her husband during his Medical Residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Prior to joining Dr. Craig Friedman, she served as faculty at Nova Southeastern University’s Dental School where she was involved in several well-known clinical research studies and took part in their dental student education program. To further advance her clinical skills in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, she completed a two-year residency in Advanced Education of General Dentistry at Larkin Community Hospital, located in Miami, Florida. Given her superior clinical and leadership skills, she was chosen as the chief resident during the program. Dr. Feiz is a member of both the American Dental Association (ADA) and Florida Dental Association (FDA). Currently serving as a clinical educator at Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Dr. Feiz is involved in training Dentists in the field of Advanced Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Feiz believes in a patient-centered model of clinical care. Her career is devoted to providing comprehensive and personalized dental care in the area of preventative and restorative dentistry. Dr. Feiz resides in Weston with her husband and three beautiful children.
