Meet Dr. David Herman
Dr. David J. Herman, DMD, is an experienced dentist dedicated to providing personalized, patient-first care and helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles that last a lifetime. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Syracuse University in 1985 before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University College of Dental Medicine in 1989. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital in 1990.
Education and Continued Learning
With decades of clinical experience, Dr. Herman enjoys treating both straightforward and complex dental cases. His areas of interest include crown and bridge dentistry, dental implants, veneers, and Invisalign®, allowing him to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to each patient’s individual needs. He believes dentistry is about more than simply creating a beautiful smile—it is about improving how patients feel about themselves and their overall well-being.
Dr. Herman takes a collaborative approach to treatment, listening carefully to each patient’s concerns and providing honest, expert recommendations. His goal is to create a treatment plan that is right for each individual while delivering exceptional results with integrity and a commitment to long-term oral health. He is also passionate about continuing education and staying current with advances in dentistry so he can continue providing the highest level of care.
Dentistry has been a family tradition for Dr. Herman. Inspired by his father, uncle, and cousin—all dentists—he saw firsthand the positive impact they made in their patients’ lives and was inspired to follow in their footsteps. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida State Dental Association, and New York State Dental Association.
Personal Life & Interests
After relocating to South Florida with his wife, Susie, Dr. Herman enjoys an active lifestyle outside the office, including exercise, tennis, golf, travel, and exploring their new surroundings. He and Susie also share their home with their two dogs, Buck and Bear.
